Molly and Lewis’s DIY village hall wedding was totally different from every other wedding I’ve filmed. I mean, every wedding is unique, but never to this extent. I knew as soon as she booked that it would be amazing, because Molly is a student at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, one of the finest in the UK. As you’ll see, the supplier list is short, because almost everything was done by Molly or her friends and family. I’ve never had a bridal prep before where one of the main elements was the bride creating her own bouquet. But it was all wonderful as a result. Also, completely unplanned, we recorded Lewis, the groom, doing a wee piece to camera about what Molly meant to him. He nailed it and as soon as I recorded that, I knew it would be the backbone of this edit. I could go on, I won’t. Just enjoy the film.
