Michelle & Craig hosted a relaxed, celestial themed wedding for their friends and families from around the globe at Crear Weddings in Argyll in April.
Despite being an absolute scorcher of a day, the famous views over Jura never materialised as the haze was intense. However, during the break, when the guests were dining, I spotted a tiny glimmer of sunset breaking through the clouds and sprinted to get the timelapse set up. Thankfully it paid off.
Later into the evening, there was a lovely blue hour where we went down onto the beach and got some wonderful moments which, tonally, absolutely complimented the colour scheme of midnight blues which Michelle had selected for the wedding.
The details in this wedding were superb and sheer credit to Michelle’s planning and creativity, wielded in between shifts as a doctor in Edinburgh. We even got a wee memento pin badge which was lovely.
It was a fair shift and we didn’t ;eave Crear until 2230hrs, which saw us roll into Edinburgh at 0200 the following morning. But all worth it to shoot in such a cracking part of the country.
