About Us
What is the investment required to commission a wedding film?

This largely depends on what you want as part of your wedding services. Check out our Services & Packages page for a better idea but prices start at £1400

Are there any extra costs, on top of the package price?

Sometimes, but these would be outlined in a quote at the time of booking. Typically these would be;

Travel: Everything within a 50 mile radius of Edinburgh is inclusive, everything beyond that is in addition to the fee. This is usually calculated at 45p per mile.
Accommodation: If it is very remote, we will include two nights accommodation in the quote, but trust us when we say that we are very low maintenance - no expensive tastes here.
Excess baggage: If a flight is involved (and we'll book budget travel where practical) we'll potentially have to purchase excess baggage for the equipment.
Extra daily rates: If we're travelling for days either side of a wedding, we may charge a daily rate for that as it is a working day.

Do we need to sign a contract?

Yes. We both sign the contract so we can ensure both parties are happy. It's all done online though so no need to worry about bits of paper flying around.

What is the booking process?

When you enquire, we'll send you through an online link to allow you to browse our packages and optional extras. At that point, you may wish to have a chat with us to learn more about the packages. Or, if you know what you want, you can go ahead and book through the secure link. You pay a 25% deposit and sign a contract, which we'll countersign. That secures your date. Then the remainder is paid two weeks before the wedding (we can work out a payment plan if you want to manage cash flow) and that's you sorted.

Are you available for our overseas / destination wedding?

Most certainly. We are experienced in filming destination weddings across Europe. We have also lived and travelled extensively overseas so the logistics of filming anywhere in the world is well within our comfort zone. In addition to the standard package, the cost would include travel, accommodation, insurance and extra luggage allowance if necessary. We are mindful of your budgets and aim to use budget options where possible.

Do you shoot in 4K?

No. Because there is no point at the moment. As cameras continue to be released, eventually 4k will become the norm, but actually, we like the 1080 HD image better,

Will you be giving us direction on the day?

No, our aim is to be almost invisible. If we can get a few minutes to shoot some more relaxed shots away from the bustle of the day, then that's great, but we're best at capturing precious moments without being seen.

How long will it take to get the film back to us?

We aim to get your film back to you within 16 - 20 weeks of the wedding, but we also won't send you it until we are happy that is is as good as it can be. But that's a decent guide.

How long will my wedding film be?

Typically the highlight film is around 3-5 minutes and the feature film is typically around 20 minutes. Additionally there is an option to watch the full Ceremony and Speeches in their entirety as a separate option on the DVD

Where are you based?

We are based in Edinburgh but will travel anywhere, having worked all over the world.
